Fashion Drawing: Inspirational Step-by-Step Illustrations

Carolyn Scrace

Fashion Drawing is a step-by-step guide for beginners, aimed at artists who are keen to learn how to draw and construct fashion figures and outfits in a vast variety of styles. Fifteen leading illustrators and students of fashion give inspirational interviews about why drawing is so important to their design process. Step-by-step examples from their sketchbooks show how they have achieved the final illustrations.

Includes fashion proportions, and how to turn sketches into full figure drawings in different styles. How to draw clothes for men, women, and children for different occasions are shown. Another chapter looks at the design stages that go from creating a mood board and following a brief to producing the finished illustration.
